A cyclist has made a successful injury claim after he was involved in an accident resulting in him being hit by a car.
The sixty-four-year-old man from Exeter, who has not been named, was cycling his usual commute to work on Heavitree Road, Exeter, when the incident occurred.
As the Stagecoach bus driver was cycling along the road, a car suddenly came out of nowhere and cut across his path. The man hit his brakes in an attempt to avoid the collision, but was thrown over his handlebars due to the sudden stop. He struck the side of the car as he fell to the ground.
